It is situated in remakri pangsha union under Ruma upazilla of Bandarban in Bangladesh. According to local tribal language “Tajing” means “Great” & “Dong” means “Hill” so that means “Great hill”.

To get "Khoiya Chara" waterfall one need to get removed from the shuttle  at "Bara Takiya" bazar, Merarsarai in Dhaka-Chittagong highway. After then utilize the "khoiya chara" Road. it,s actually near through Bara takiya bazaar bus stop. One can even take some sort of CNG auto or auto rickshaw through Bartakiya. it,ll take 50-60 BDT through Baratakiya to the Road of Train gate. Then merely follow the street. after some time you'll discover  the "Chara"/"Jhiri Path" (water streem) right now follow your chara. you will find there's local artificial footpath that's following your "Chara"/"Jhiri path". So utilize the footpath. after around 30 minutes you will discover some House close to the jhiri path/Chara. Whenever you see a final village households by Jhiri path/Chara use your Right hand path that's going throughout the mountain. Don't utilize the Jhiri path/Chara trek, its way is dangerous, You can use the jhiri path in case you are Good in Swimming. And so the trail throughout the mountain will lead you to the first Waterfall.

If you need to see the big waterfalls use your left area path on the "khoiyachara waterfall" it's little challenging to rise but it,ll lead you to initial step of the waterfall. Best places to stay:

There isn't a hotel with Bara takiya Bazaar. you need to camp using tent or you'll need to go to chittagong or even sitakunda pertaining to hotels.

What you should eat (food):

On your trail you can find only just one Small green tea stall. So it'll be a smart idea to take many Dry food or you may use a little stove pertaining to cooking.

Tips/advise pertaining to traveler:

1. Inquire local pertaining to Directions. They are happy to assist. But Very few.

2. Take some food and minimal 2 liter normal fresh water.

3. Don't  go very close to the underground cave. It is  way too deep. if you happen to be good in swimming you can swim to the natural Normal water pool or just avoid them.
